Our services vary in price based on location, flag hours expected and other factors. We charge based on the regulation standards set up for Automotive Service Technicians in the state of Texas. It is our top priority to set fair and competitive prices.
We will NEVER complete a repair on your vehicle without having spoken with you and receiving approval in advance. We do not have a business without having the trust of our customers so while things may come up that change the service cost from time to time, we will always discuss it with you before we make any changes to your bill.
A Mobile Mechanic comes to your home or place of business or wherever your vehicle is parked and does the repairs necessary there. You should always make sure in advance that the vehicle is in a safe place for these repairs to take place (not on the side of the highway for instance).

He has completed ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certifications), Texas state requirements, GM, KIA, Hyundai and other Manufacturer Master Certifications, IMACA and other specialized training. However, you can order parts prior to the repair or pay for parts over the phone to the store, through your preferred app or even online directly to MARS. You can choose your preferred parts store including any online store. However, if we have not diagnosed the vehicle please be aware that the repair needed may differ and the part you already have may not be correct. We suggest to all customers that we perform our own Diagnosis when necessary to avoid any issues.
Towing is done by a third party company that Myers Automotive Repair Service has chosen to work with. Please see Terms & Conditions regarding tow related information. In these Terms & Conditions, M.A.R.S refers to Myers Automotive Repair Service LLC and its owners or employees.
Appointment Fee
M.A.R.S minimum fee per appointment is $130. A deposit may be required for your appointment.
We base M.A.R.S hourly charge off the national Flag Hour system and it will vary based on each vehicles required time frame and parts costs. In order to get an accurate cost estimate we ask the customer to contact M.A.R.S directly. Myers Automotive Repair Service offers a premium service with 20 years experience in the industry and because of that we DO NOT negotiate our price. We DO NOT price match "competitors". In specific circumstances we may reduce the fee or offer discounts but we will not change the cost of our services unless an owner has approved a change. Payment is due in full the day of the appointment and your vehicle will not be released to you until the payment is made in full. M.A.R.S will put a Mechanic's Lien on your vehicle if your refuse to pay for your services. While estimates are subject to change, M.A.R.S. will never do anything to your vehicle without first disclosing it and discussing it with you beforehand. If a concern arises that will add an additional cost to your original estimate we will approve it with you first before proceeding. In short, there are no hidden fees by Myers Automotive Repair Service.
Appointment Deposit
If the customer is not going to be at the repair or maintenance appointment (mobile services) then the customer is required to pay the appointment fee in FULL prior to work beginning. If the part costs exceed $100 the customer will be required to pay the parts plus any fees in advance. A receipt will be automatically sent with any payment made and a invoice with the remaining balance will be sent out. If the repair or maintenance appointment is 2 or more hours, a deposit is required based on the total in order to reserve those times for the customer. Customers are required to pay their appointment fees in full at the appointment.
Appointment Specifics
If your appointment is a Mobile Service, you will need to provide your billing address as well as the address where the vehicle is located. As each appointment and customer is different, we follow directions given to M.A.R.S. regarding the location of keys, parts and necessary entrance codes and etc. M.A.R.S. will send the customer an estimate for approval as well as a appointment time notification. A deposit for your appointment may be required.
If your appointment is at our physical shop location, then the customer will be provided with GPS coordinates as well as any information regarding their appointment time and estimate for repairs or maintenance. We schedule BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at our physical location. Please do not enter the gate/property without expressed permission by M.A.R.S. A drop box for keys will be available for customers dropping off vehicles after hours.
Cancellation/No Show Fees
If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before the set appointment time the cancellation fee is $50. Any NO SHOW at the requested and agreed upon appointment time is a $75 fee due before any future repairs or maintenance will be scheduled. A NO SHOW may result in a requirement to pay a deposit in advance for any new appointments made.
Rescheduling Appointments
Myers Automotive Repair Service does not charge for rescheduling appointments. If at any point someone becomes ill, has an accident, an unforeseen circumstance or event occurs, or the weather is considered unsafe (to hot, to cold, rain, ice, etc) then we will reschedule your appointment to the next available opening. In the event of a reschedule on our part we may offer a $20 discount for your inconvenience. For M.A.R.S. appointments we reserve the right to reschedule at our discretion as needed. We do not charge for rescheduling appointments *unless* it becomes a common occurrence. In that case we will have to charge the $50 fee.
Financing
Myers Automotive Repair Service may offer financing. We reserve the right to not offer the financing on any parts costs due to the nature, cost or size of the repair. If the customer decides to use our financing options and refuses to remit payment for the repair we will hold the vehicle until the financing has been submitted or an alternative method of payment has been made.
Scheduled Appointments
M.A.R.S makes every effort to commit to being at the appointment scheduled at the time it is appointed. However we do give a two hour window for appointment arrival. M.A.R.S does this in order to help with any delays due to unforeseen circumstances in other customers appointments, traffic and etc. If the technician will arrive later than the scheduled window then an employee from M.A.R.S will notify the customer and the technician will attempt to still arrive and complete the repair on the scheduled day or reschedule to the next available time. Please understand that M.A.R.S is a private business, family owned and operated and not a large corporation. For instance in the event of a delay at other shops they will have a customers vehicle for sometimes weeks and months at a time. At M.A.R.S we make every effort to have the vehicle repair or maintenance done within hour(s) or days. On occasion a large repair may require a longer than anticipated wait or a part may not arrive on time; is incorrect, in this case the repair time may vary and is not guaranteed a specific time frame. Deposits are REQUIRED for appointments that take 2 hours or longer due to the loss of income that may proceed cancellations when a customer is scheduled for half a day or an entire day of service.
Customer Provided Parts & Repair Requests without M.A.R.S Diagnostic
In the case in which a customer provides the parts, fluids and etc needed for maintenance or repair, it is expected that the customer would have these ready prior to their appointment and would reschedule if otherwise not available. If a customer is providing these parts and does not have them at the appointment or they are wrong, then they will be charged a fee. A fee of $50-$200 (depending on the appointment time frame) will be applied as well as the appointment rescheduled to M.A.R.S. first available appointment. These fees apply to customer repair requests that are found to be incorrect, unnecessary or wrong. Accidents happen and we understand that and will assist in helping you get the right parts In any case where a customer is not confident ordering their own parts, we highly recommend that M.A.R.S. handle the parts ordering. There is NO Workmanship Warranty on repairs using customer provided parts because M.A.R.S. is unable to do a labor claim with the manufacturer.
Workmanship Warranty
Myers Automotive Repair Service offers a Workmanship Warranty on most repairs. The warranty is 3,000 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. This warranty only covers the repair, it does not cover any parts installed which have their own manufacturer warranty. Exceptions do apply, if you have any questions or concerns please contact us prior to work being completed. If a customer requests a part be installed and it has not been diagnosed by Myers Automotive Repair Service first, the Workmanship Warranty does not apply. If a customer requests a specific repair even after the Technician has given them an alternative diagnosis or recommendation, the Workmanship Warranty does not apply. If the customer takes their vehicle to another shop related to the repair that M.A.R.S. had made then the warranty no longer applies because M.A.R.S. is unable to guarantee that another mechanic has not maliciously or unknowingly damaged parts or the vehicle causing repairs. In the event that a repair made by M.A.R.S. does not resolve the diagnosed concern, M.A.R.S. will return to do additional diagnostics free of charge. In the case of an incomplete diagnosis, Myers Automotive Repair Service will use the labor already paid towards subsequent repairs needed. It Is expected that the customer give M.A.R.S. a reasonable opportunity to resolve any concerns during normal business hours and at the earliest available time. Myers Automotive Repair Service makes every effort to commit to the highest quality and integrity regarding all aspects of business, however in some cases more may need to be done to determine the necessary repairs past our capability. In the case of an unresolved diagnostic, M.A.R.S. may choose to refund the customer so that they may go to a different repair facility. Customers are made aware that any concerns should be addressed immediately. If a customer fails to contact M.A.R.S. within a reasonable amount of time, allowing the vehicle to be evaluated by M.A.R.S. and/or the vehicle is taken to another shop then the Workmanship Warranty is void.
At no point will M.A.R.S. Owners or employees engage with customers that are threatening or hostile. If a customer becomes hostile or threatening then communication will be cut off and the customer will not be responded to by any member of M.A.R.S. at any time for any reason. Non payment for customers balance due voids any and all warranties with Myers Automotive Repair Service. Workmanship Warranty does not apply to certain repairs including repairs in which after market parts were used, this includes Catalytic Converters.
Diagnosis Policy
There is no expressed or implied coverage for misdiagnosis by another repair shop. If M.A.R.S is asked to replace a part based on the diagnosis of another repair company we have no idea if the part will fix the concern and we expect the customer to acknowledge this prior to installing the part. If the vehicle is not fixed by the previous companies diagnosis, we will charge a full diagnostic fee to do our own inspection of the vehicle. It is always our suggestion that if you want the proper repairs done to have M.A.R.S perform the diagnostic process prior to any repairs being made. A Diagnostic Appointment is where the Technician uses a scanner or other tools if necessary to determine which repairs or maintenance a vehicle may need. The Technician will then tell the customer which repairs are necessary and the customer can then determine when they would like to schedule to complete those repairs. If a customer waives a Diagnostic Appointment and the vehicle has sustained body damage preventing the repair, the vehicles condition is worse than described, the Technician feels uncomfortable or unsafe performing the repair then we reserve the right to cancel the appointment immediately. M.A.R.S will provide an explanation to the customer as to why the repairs cannot be performed but the customer understands that the repair will not be performed and further work may not be completed for that customer if the situation calls for anyone at M.A.R.S to feel uncomfortable or unsafe moving forward. Diagnostics findings do not guarantee that additional repairs needed may not be found at a later date or during the recommended repair and are subject to change based on new or additional findings. Diagnostic Appointment is valid for 7 days, after 7 days the warranty expires as M.A.R.S. has no way of knowing if the customer drove the vehicle causing further damage or if further erosion has happened to parts on the vehicle. If repairs are delayed, M.A.R.S. may require a new Diagnostic Appointment for an additional fee.
Warranty Disclaimer
Unfortunately we are unable and unauthorized to perform manufacturer warranty repairs. We do not offer part failure warranties: parts typically have their own manufacturer warranty and you can contact the company you purchased from for that information to get it replaced but the labor cost associated with the part replacement is not under warranty. WE DO NOT OFFER A NATIONWIDE WARRANTY.
Used Parts Warranty
If a used part is purchased with a parts and/or labor warranty the parts seller may only warranty the labor under a reduced rate. The labor rate M.A.R.S charges may exceed above that rate given under the warranty, in this case the customer would be responsible for the difference in price.
Parts
Myers Automotive Repair Service DOES NOT return parts to customers unless requested upfront when the appointment is made. Myers Automotive Repair Service does not hold parts after repair is made and will be unable to return them to the customer unless arrangements have already been made previously.
Estimate & Unforeseen Events
Myers Automotive Repair Service gives estimates on labor cost and hours based on Industry Standards. If Myers Automotive Repair Service has to reschedule due unforeseen circumstances we will make every effort to reschedule the appointment at the first available opening. Estimates are not a guarantee in cost, if issues arise during the repair or if additional parts are needed then Myers Automotive Repair Service will notify the customer before continuing the repair. If the customer agrees, then the repair will continue. Estimates may not reflect additional issues discovered as repairs are underway if it was not something specific to the repair. Estimates are the minimum fee charged by Myers Automotive Repair Service. Labor estimates and/or fees do NOT include extraction of broken bolts or rounded off nuts that are damaged prior to service or during service. The customer will be notified of any additional fees due to broken bolts/nuts. In the event of an unforeseen event such as an illness, accident or circumstance that would hinder the technician from completing the repair, Myers Automotive Repair Service will refund a prorated amount of the hours left so that the customer can find another company to complete the repair. Myers Automotive Repair Service will do everything in our power to complete each repair and service as agreed upon. In the event that a service or repair takes longer than the estimated time allotted, Myers Automotive Repair Service will return at the earliest available time to complete the repair or service. In some cases, particularly with large repairs such as engine and transmission replacements, Timing Belt, Steering and Suspension, Wiring and Electrical repairs and etc. the Technician may encounter unforeseen delays which may cause an extended repair time frame. In the event of a delayed repair, Myers Automotive Repair Service may offer the customer $50 off their next repair or service. Any estimate sent by M.A.R.S. is valid for 30 days, afterwards a new Diagnostic Appointment may be required and fees may change based on parts availability and current Labor charges. Engine and Transmission availability changes daily and there is no guarantee on part availability or price. Customer is aware for mobile services that their vehicle may be disabled during repairs even in unforeseen circumstances where parts have been removed from the vehicle.
Part Failure/Warranty Claims
In the case of part failure or that a warranty claim becomes necessary it is understood by the customer that Myers Automotive Repair Service would handle the warranty claim as long as parts are purchased by M.A.R.S. If a claim is necessary M.A.R.S. will wait for approval by the department responsible for the warranty before scheduling the repair. It is not within M.A.R.S. control the availability time frame for approval or part accessibility. The customer understands that M.A.R.S. will do our due diligence and return to complete repair as soon as the warranty is approved. Warranty claims may be covered to a certain amount of labor based on the company's set rate. The Customer may be responsible for additional labor costs, fees, parts or fluids needed. Myers Automotive Repair Service will discuss these details with the customer if additional costs apply.
Vehicle Condition
This liability disclaimer is intended to inform customers of Myers Automotive Repair Service about the scope of responsibility regarding the condition of their vehicles during and after service. Please read this disclaimer carefully before authorizing any repair or maintenance work.
Vehicle Inspection:
Myers Automotive Repair Service performs a comprehensive inspection of each vehicle before initiating any repair or maintenance work. This inspection is aimed at identifying existing issues and potential concerns. However, it is essential to note that hidden or pre-existing conditions may not be immediately apparent. In the case where vehicles are not scheduled for a Diagnostic Appointment, the focus will be on the repair requested.
Customer Disclosure:
Customers are encouraged to disclose any known issues or pre-existing conditions related to their vehicle before service commences. Any such information provided by the customer will be taken into consideration during the service process.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
While Myers Automotive Repair Service strives for accuracy and diligence in our services, unforeseen circumstances may arise during the repair process. These circumstances could include but are not limited to hidden mechanical issues, defective parts, or other unforeseeable complications.
Limitation of Liability:
Myers Automotive Repair Service shall not be held liable for any damages, claims, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or unforeseen circumstances encountered during the repair or maintenance process.
Parts and Components:
Myers Automotive Repair Service uses high-quality parts and components for all repairs. However, the liability for defects in manufacturer-supplied parts is subject to the terms and conditions specified by the respective manufacturers.
Post-Service Inspection:
Customers are advised to inspect their vehicles thoroughly upon completion of the service. Any concerns or issues should be reported promptly to Myers Automotive Repair Service for evaluation and resolution.
Assumption of Risk:
By authorizing the repair or maintenance services, the customer acknowledges and assumes the risk associated with potential hidden or pre-existing conditions in their vehicle. Myers Automotive Repair Service shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such conditions.
Release of Liability:
In consideration of the services provided by Myers Automotive Repair Service, the customer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Myers Automotive Repair Service and its employees from any liability, claims, demands, or actions arising out of or related to the condition of the vehicle.
Modification of Terms:
Myers Automotive Repair Service reserves the right to modify or update the terms of this liability disclaimer at any time without prior notice. Customers are encouraged to review this disclaimer regularly.
By authorizing service with Myers Automotive Repair Service, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this liability disclaimer.
Tow Services Disclaimer:
Myers Automotive Repair Service values the safety and satisfaction of our customers. To enhance our services and provide comprehensive assistance, we may engage the services of third-party tow service providers for vehicle transportation in certain situations. Please note the following disclaimer:
Myers Automotive Repair Service and our third-party tow service providers operate as independent entities. The tow service provider is not an employee, agent, or representative of Myers Automotive Repair Service. They are solely responsible for the provision of towing services.
Myers Automotive Repair Service does not control the operations of third-party tow service providers, and we cannot be held responsible for their actions, conduct, or any shortcomings in their services. The tow service is subject to the terms and conditions of the independent towing contractor.
Myers Automotive Repair Service disclaims any liability for damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of third-party tow services. Customers are encouraged to review and understand the terms of service provided by the towing contractor, including any insurance coverage they may offer.
By engaging Myers Automotive Repair Service and utilizing the third-party tow service, customers agree to indemnify and hold Myers Automotive Repair Service harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from the tow service provided by the independent contractor.
Myers Automotive Repair Service reserves the right to cancel or modify the engagement of third-party tow services at our discretion, without assuming any liability, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or changes in service requirements.
Scheduling for vehicle pick up will be done between Myers Automotive Repair Service (for the customer) and the tow company. Customer will need to make sure that vehicle keys are available for tow company upon arrival whether the customer is at the vehicle or not. Payment made to tow company is made directly from Myers Automotive Repair Service and is included in the customers invoice unless the customer is providing their own tow company in which the customer is responsible for the payment to their chosen tow company.
Engaging the services of Myers Automotive Repair Service and accepting the third-party tow service implies acknowledgment and acceptance of this disclaimer. Customers are encouraged to inquire about and review the terms and conditions of the third-party tow service provider.
By choosing Myers Automotive Repair Service and utilizing third-party tow services, customers agree to abide by the terms outlined in this disclaimer. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide you with comprehensive automotive services.
Owner & Employee Safety
If a customer, relative or friend is hostile with Myers Automotive Repair Service owners or employees regarding scheduled repairs, estimates, or services rendered either over the phone, in messages or in person, Myers Automotive Repair Service has the right to terminate all communication, arrangements and estimates with the customer for our safety. If a deposit for the customers appointment has been made and a hostile situation occurs, the customer may be refunded all but $100 of their deposit for the inconvenience. Threats to safety include yelling at employees or owners, threats of harm or suit, cussing and belittling employees or owners. In the case of physical threats of violence or actual violence, law enforcement will be called and charges made.
Weather
Myers Automotive Repair Service may close due to severe weather as needed. For the safety of our Technicians we do not work mobile during severe weather including rain, tornado watch/warning, hail, etc. specifically when customers do not have a garage or a safe please to work outside of the weather. Appointments may be rescheduled if you do not have access to a garage or if it is decided that it is not safe to drive or do repairs in the current weather conditions.
Payments
M.A.R.S. accepts cash, credit/debit card, and cash apps. Checks are accepted ONLY through reputable businesses. If payment is not remitted the day service is completed then Myers Automotive Repair will hold your vehicle until payment is made. Daily late fees of $20 a day will apply to unpaid balances. If your balance remains unpaid M.A.R.S. will file a Mechanic's Lien on your vehicle or file with the courts to collect the charges and fees owed. Alternatively, a Collection Agency may be contacted to collect funds owed.
Refund Policy
At any time, under no circumstance is Myers Automotive Repair Service obligated to refund a customer based on the customers request once a repair has been completed. It is the customers responsibility to read and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions which are posted publicly on our website and social media and sent with each appointment reminder.
Detailing Vehicles
Detailing of vehicles is done by employees of Myers Automotive Repair Service under the supervision of the owner. We do NOT guarantee stain removal or scratch removal. Additional fees apply to vehicles with large and intricate needs such as pet hair, vomit, feces, etc. We reserve the right to deny any detailing job, for any reason.
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are good for 12 months after the purchase date for any repair, maintenance or detail. If the Gift Certificate does not cover the entirety of the repair, maintenance or detail then the customer is in charge of acknowledging that the difference will need to be paid by them in order to use the Gift Certificate. It is the "Gifter" and customers responsibility to make sure that the information for the Gift Certificate is printed and logged within the online system through GiftUp by printing or screen shotting their email. M.A.R.S will then verify the Gift Certificate in our system and apply it to the repair, maintenance or detail.
Coupons & Discounts
Coupons and discounts may vary and must be shown at the time the appointment is scheduled. We do not offer refunds for discounts or coupons missed. Check our social media for updates. Veterans and Active Military are offered 20% off their first bill (LABOR ONLY). Only (1) coupon per RO per customer including discounted Diagnostics.
Binding Arbitration Agreement
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the services provided by Myers Automotive Repair Service, or any other interaction between you and Myers Automotive Repair Service, the parties agree to resolve such disputes through binding arbitration, in accordance with the following terms:
The arbitration shall be administered by a reputable arbitration organization, such as the American Arbitration Association (AAA), in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be held in Taylor, Texas, or another mutually agreed-upon location within the state of Texas.
This arbitration clause applies to any claims, disputes, or controversies, whether in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, including but not limited to claims related to services, warranties, representations, and damages.
By agreeing to arbitration, both parties waive their right to a trial by jury or to litigate disputes in court, except as otherwise provided by law. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
The arbitration proceedings and the award shall be kept confidential, except as required by law or to enforce the arbitration award.
Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys' fees in connection with the arbitration, except as required by the applicable arbitration rules or awarded by the arbitrator.
This arbitration clause does not apply to claims related to personal injury, bodily harm, or other claims where arbitration is prohibited by law. It also does not preclude either party from seeking injunctive relief or other equitable remedies in a court of competent jurisdiction in Texas.
This arbitration clause shall survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions and any other agreements between the parties.
If any provision of this arbitration clause is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the clause shall continue in effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be severed from the clause.
By engaging with Myers Automotive Repair Service or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this arbitration clause and agree to be bound by its terms.
